the Next Periwinkle Quilting Retreat
Weekend!

22, 2009— Friday morning through Sunday pm.
two years
ago we held our first retreat
at Shekinah timber lodge, just 40 minutes north of Saskatoon, near Waldheim.
It was a great time, and inspiring to see
all the different projects people were working on. If you have
been thinking about a retreat weekend in which we
can get away from the phones, the meal preparation and housework, and most
importantly, spend some extended quality time with other women, quilting, or stitching or
knitting or scrapbooking then this is for you!! All
meals are included, and the room for the 2
nights. the cost is $170.00 plus GST.
Although we don’t have any specific classes
to offer, I, Michelle will be happy to be available to
demo things, or to troubleshoot or to answer any quilt
related questions.... altho I’m sure there will be many more knowledgeable
quilters there who will have advice if needed. .... as
well, we’ll just have a lot of fun.
We
have a list of people interested in attending, and we'll have to get
serious in September about confirming who is coming (by way of a
deposit!), so think about whether you want to come or not and let us
know.
We will also have a spring retreat next
March.
